My CSM or CSPO certification has or will expire soon, do I have to complete the scrum alliance educational units (SEUS) required to renew my CSM or CSPO before I start my A-CSM or A-CSPO program?

No, if your CSM or CSPO expires while taking an Advanced offering (A-CSM or A-CSPO), your previous certification is automatically renewed when you obtain your Advanced certification.

You do not need to get SEUs to keep your CSM or CSPO current if you are in and Advanced program, your Advanced learning will satisfy the SEU requirements.
