Jason Tanner

Jason Tanner is the CEO of Applied Frameworks, a management consulting firm, and co-creator of Online Education  at Applied Frameworks. Jason’s professional experience spans product management and marketing, business planning, partner management, project management and leadership.

His passion is coaching people in organizations to develop products that customers love. Jason mentors, teaches, facilitates and sometimes does the work to identify and apply the optimal frameworks for given situations. Lately he’s been focused on very large scale Agile adoptions and overcoming all of the obstacles thousands of people encounter when their world of work shifts. Jason has been Certified Scrum Trainer® since 2013.

Jennifer Fawcett

Jennifer is an empathetic lean and agile leader, practitioner, coach, speaker, and consultant. Her passion and focus has been in delivering value in the workplace and by creating communities and culture through effective product management, product ownership, executive portfolio coaching and leadership. She has provided dedicated service in these areas to technology companies for over 35 years.

Background & Credentials

Jennifer was a contributor and developer of content and courseware for the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe), and is a SAFe Fellow and SPCT. Jennifer spent several years in product management and product ownership at Tendril (now Uplight) and Rational Software (now IBM-Rational). She has also spent a significant portion of her career as a consultant, providing senior-level lean and agile product management, product marketing, corporate visioning, architecture, process expertise, and hands-on development to many of the Global 2000. She lives in Boulder Colorado, where she works and plays near the majestic and inspiring Rocky Mountains.

Kim Poremski

As Principal Consultant, Kim puts her decades of IT leadership experience to use for our clients at all phases of their Agile adoption. She has recently worked as a mentor and trainer in engagements with USAA, Thomson Reuters, benefitexpress, and Tyler Technologies.

Prior to joining Applied Frameworks, Kim developed her skills as an Agile coach and team leader at BenefitFocus, Capital One, ING, and T. Rowe Price.

Background & Credentials

Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Information Technology and Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems from Stevenson University. A frequent speaker at regional and national Agile events, Kim is a Certified Scrum Professional and holds certifications in SAFe® Program Consulting as well as Scrum@Scale.

Luke Hohmann

Luke has been involved with Applied Frameworks since its founding in 2003. He later went on to start Conteneo, a collaboration software company which was acquired by Scaled Agile in 2019. While at Scaled Agile, Luke served as a SAFe® Framework Contributor and Principal Consultant, with significant contributions to the SAFe Agile Product Delivery (APD) and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) competencies and the SAFe POPM, APM, and LPM courses.

He is the author of three books and cited as an inventor on more than a dozen patents. His books include Innovation Games: Creating Breakthrough Products through Collaborative Play (2006), Beyond Software Architecture (2003) and Journey of the Software Professional (1996).

Luke co-organized the first Agile conference in 2003, has served on the Board of the Agile Alliance, and, in partnership with the Scrum Alliance, produced the “Collaboration at Scale” webinar series, the world’s largest monthly webinar devoted to helping organizations with 10 or more Scrum teams in 2 or more locations scale agility.

Luke is a highly sought after speaker has as keynoted such conferences as the Agile Alliance conference, Agile Australia, Lean-Agile Scotland, Agile New Zealand, the Austrian Innovation Forum, the CXPA and multiple SAFe Summits.

Luke is the co-founder of Every Voice Engaged Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit that helps citizens, governments and nonprofit organizations collaboratively solve problems that are unsolvable without civic engagement. EVEF has been a leader in the Participatory Budgeting movement, helping citizens prioritize hundreds of millions of dollars through Budget Games. In partnership with The Kettering Foundation, Conteneo created Common Ground for Action, the first scalable platform for deliberative decision-making, which is now owned and managed by EVEF.

Luke graduated magna cum laude with a BSE in computer engineering and an MSE in computer science and engineering from the University of Michigan. In addition to data structures and artificial intelligence, he studied cognitive psychology and organizational behavior.
